Brian is known in the Bay Area as a leading performer, educator, composer and producer. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, he is adept at many styles including jazz, Brazilian, flamenco, R&B, rock and pop. He is the co-founder and 7-string guitarist for Grupo Falso Baiano, a Bay Area quartet dedicated to modern Brazilian choro music. Brian performs regularly as a soloist and has been featured on dozens of studio recordings as a sideman, composer and arranger. His articles have been published in Acoustic Guitar magazine and he’s an instructor at California Jazz Conservatory and California BrazilCamp.
